On Aug.31, 2025, demonstrators gathered on the Santa Monica Pier to honor the Global Sumud Flotilla, which departed Barcelona that afternoon carrying desperately needed humanitarian aid and hundreds of international volunteers from 44 countries. Their mission: to break Israel’s illegal siege of Gaza.
