The morning mist of November sat heavy over the streets of Budapest. The rain had just stopped when Will and I met up in the Belváros—downtown Budapest, near the historic Dob utca. Will was in town filming El Turco, and I was visiting family. Our schedules aligned, allowing us to uphold our annual tradition of a photoshoot.

It was an eventful morning, with Will recounting his Budapest stories between shutter clicks as we made our way from Párisi Udvar to Dob utca. This shot was taken on the famed Kazinczy utca—a street I had often walked decades prior on my way to catch the Metro to university. I remember gazing at the cobblestones, feeling their history, and envisioning a future photoshoot against them. And there we were, 25 years later—Will, the perfect subject for a shot I had long envisioned.

Proceeds from this limited-edition portrait—signed by both Will and the photographer—will support Project Street Dog and their upcoming spring campaign in Peru.
